Our renewed focus through SustainOvation of Sharing, Influencing and Networking supports the ambitions of our themes, clubs and forums.


David’s role as Managing Director with Glen King PR and over 46 years’ experience in engineering and construction combined with his diverse portfolio of clients and specialist knowledge in area of the technology and energy supports the aims and ambitions of the SustainOvation forum.


As the former director of the Carbon Savings Alliance David supported more than 70 Landlords within social housing, local authorities, construction, consultants and community groups supports the aims of CESW fully.



We have started the sustainability journey with a series of planned meetings, we have issued a draft white paper on the future energy scenarios along with a planned conference in late 2018.


Climate Summit has been booked for the 21st November at Sandy Park Exeter organized by the Devon and Exeter Club of CESW


Greater sharing, with aligned partnerships are planned, we have a series of ambitious themes which focus on challenging issues. Working as part of a wider group with greater networking with our piers creates greater influencing.




Constructing Excellence South West Devon and Exeter Club


Join us for the one-day Climate Summit event on Thursday the 21st November 2018 at Sandy Park in Exeter. The event will be focusing on the Governments Industrial Strategy which aims to maximise the advantages for UK industry.


Innovate UK’s £170m ‘Transforming Construction’ programme will help drive the necessary innovation to achieve this goal. It is envisaged this will be achieved through improved design, clean heating, and innovative energy management systems that help reduce costs.


This is important as within Greater Exeter alone around 500k Sqft of commercial buildings are planned for development. This one-day summit focuses on 'Planning for Change in Commercial Property Development ‘and will outline the drivers for change.
