Beer Wall Flood AlleviationThe A372 is a strategically important part of the Somerset highways network, acting as the main route between the areas of Langport, Yeovil and the A303. Drainage capacity through Beer Wall was restricted in the original Sowy River and Langacre Rhyne culverts under the A372, causing Beer Wall to impound water during high flows.Read more
Truro Western Corridor
Threemilestone (TMS) roundabout was a pinch point that was exasperated by buses having to negotiate it twice in order to serve the local village. By adding extra lanes on the approach to the roundabout and creating a bus gate to the east of the village buses have a more direct route making the service more attractive & relieving congestion.
Cheltenham RacesThe re-development of Cheltenham Racecourse was a complex scheme which presented numerous challenges, including a capped project cost, short programme, connection to existing buildings and the logistical issues presented by programming the works around a calendar of events and day-to-day operations. In 2011 EDF Energy selected Cannington Court in North Somerset to be their new UK training campus. The group of seven buildings had been previously used as an agricultural college by Somerset Council (Bridgwater College), including a Grade I listed domed chapel dating from 1830.
RUH Bath PharmacyThe Pharmacy is a central part of the Trust’s services, providing drug treatments for wards and outpatient departments, and continuing care on discharge. The redevelopment of the Pharmacy is a key enabler in the delivery of the Trust’s estate strategy. The existing pharmacy building was in poor condition and as a result, the service was not compliant with European Good Manufacturing Practice or Medicines Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency standards.Read more

Green Build HubThe ERDF funded Green Build Hub (GBH) is the brainchild of Cornwall Sustainable Buildings Trust (CSBT) and was designed, procured and built as an exemplar sustainable building. GBH is a ‘living laboratory’ where eco-building products will be installed, tested and monitored in a real-life setting.Read more
