Edward Coley

Ed is currently Head of Skills and Employability at Plymouth City Council where he has been involved with both sub regional, regional and national activity regarding improving the skills and employment system for young people and those out of work.

He is currently Chair of the Building Plymouth Sponsors Forum and Skills Forum, Chair of the Plymouth Learning Skills and Employability Group and Secretariat to the Plymouth Employment and Skills Board and member of the People LEP group.

Ed’s previous experience around apprenticeships, demand and supply of skills, regeneration programmes and employment across a number of large schemes has helped develop the Building Plymouth initiative.

A real believer in partnership working and a view that our current and future skills issues cannot be resolved in isolation, these principles are embedded in Building Plymouth as it moves forward.
